Number of Trainees: 1 to 4 trainees per session.
Prerequisites: GM-TRPG-1+ certification.
Post-training test: Yes (multiple-choice, fill in the blank, matching, short essay). Require 90%+ test score to receive certificate. Certificate is valid for 5 years, or can be renewed with CEUs.
Training Certification Received: Game Master Level 2 in Tabletop Role-Playing Gaming (GM-2-TRPG). Certificate is valid for 5 years, or can be renewed with CEUs.
Details: This program is available to both laymen and established professionals.
This program includes (times are approximate guidelines):
- Background refresher and RPG advocacy (30 minutes).
- More in depth examples of game styles, and various approaches for creating and GMing adventure scenarios.
- Multiple game systems covered, including: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, The One Ring Role-Playing Game, Star Wars RPG, Call of Cthulhu RPG, and others.
- Iterative hands-on interactive guidance running a group of 1 or more players through one or more various pre-generated "standard" adventure scenarios.
- Iterative processing about participants performance.
- Coaching creation of World Creation.
- Coaching creation of Campaign Outline.
- Coaching creation of short module based on above.
- Short play through with 1 or more players of created modules by participants.
- Iterative processing about all topics covered.
- Certification test.
Note: Training can be delivered either as one day-long (8 hour) session, or 2 half-day (4 hour) sessions. All training must take place within a contiguous 2 week period.
