Certified Game Master V (Director level billable $90+/hr)
Certified Level 4 Tabletop RPG / LARP Game Master Therapist & Trainer

General Purpose
A Director-level position. The Certified Level 5 Professional Game Master supervises all other GM staff in addition to providing some premium RPG sessions with various premium clients, at various client locations. The GM V regularly speaks at major events. The GM V reports to the senior executive staff. The GM V provides advocacy, public speaking, training for players, game masters, educators, and therapists for RPG Therapeutics Staff and clients.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Train staff and clients on:
- RPG Therapeutics processes, methodologies, and policies.
- Program plan creation process
- RPG / LARP / CRPG / SABM Game master skills
- RPG / LARP / CRPG / SABM Player skills
- RPG facilitation
- RPG advocacy
- Drum circle and other music-related facilitation skills
- Therapeutic RPG skills
- Educational RPG skills
- Manage training of staff
- Train professional clients
- Oversee, design, and implement program plans
- Run therapeutic RPG/LARP sessions for clients.
- Typically 3-5 players per session.
- Prepare adventures in accordance with RPG Therapeutics rules and guidelines, including GM Code of Conduct.
- Customize program plans to meet client's assessed needs.
- Complete and regularly update assessment forms.
- Prepared character sheets for participants to use.
- Run campaign adventures spanning several weeks or months, typically once per week per client group.
- Insure participant compliance with Player Code of Conduct.
- Regularly report to RPG Therapist staff.
- Attend either in-person or via remote access, at least one free training session / administrative meeting per week (3-4 hours)
- Availability for at least 1 weekly group session per week (game sessions typically 3-5 hours), and up to 8 session per week.

Education and Training
Required:
- Minimum Level 5 GM Certification
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
- Board Certified Music Therapist (BC-MT)
- Washington State Registered Recreational Therapist (other state licensing will be considered as well).
- Minimum 20+ years experience as Game Master.
- Minimum 20+ years therapeutic field experience
- Minimum 10+ years education professional experience
- Minimum 10+ years music professional experience
Optional but preferred:
- Other RPG Related certifications/training.
- Recreation /event management training/certification.
- Masters degree
- Other therapeutic and recreation certification, training, degrees, licensing.
Preferred:
- 30+ years experience as Game Master (GM)
- 20+ years personal experience with all 4 RPG formats.
- 30+ years work in therapeutic field
- 20+ years work in educational field
- 20+ years in music field

Game Master will frequently work at RPG Therapeutics offices or other locations including but not limited to:
- Conventions
- Libraries
- Community centers
- Educational institutions
- Care facilities
- Live Internet Broadcasts
- Mobile Facility, the Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer at various locations
Hours: Varies. Minimum 1 session per month, and up to 10 sessions per week. Sessions typically 3-5 hours.
Job Type: Hourly.
Compensation: $40+/hr
